Big Frank, Norton’s older brother, finds pleasure in belittling his sibling often calling him “the runt of the litter.”

Ruford’s spouse, Blanch, rules the roost. Ruford either doesn’t realize it, or he doesn’t care that she does.

Norton’s long-time girlfriend, Knuckles, accepts his gluttony and many other faults. She has the statuesque physique of a fireplug.

Nester, Ruford’s middle child and only daughter scares him. He doesn’t understand teenage girls at all, and teaching her to drive gave him PTSD.

Pullet, Ruford’s youngest son, doesn’t listen to his parents or his teachers; although, he aspires to one day go to Clown College.

Ruford’s oldest son, Wattle, has been described as “not the sharpest spoon in the drawer.” Somewhat lazy and irresponsible, he takes after his father.

Angus Beef (a bull) plays the duo’s chief adversary. They don’t like his arrogance and derogatory remarks.  He thinks of himself as superior because he’s free-range.

A buddy of Ruford’s, Farrell, (a dog) visits the farm on occasion. He ran away from a good home to lead the life of a stray.

Gruff and Nan Goat reside on the farm near Norton and Ruford. Gruff believes he could have made a fortune in Goat Yoga when he was a kid.

Another member of the barnyard community, Charlie Horse, lives in the pasture nearby. He claims his great grandfather (x32) gave Lady Godiva a ride.

Farmer Derry runs the dairy farm where Norton and Ruford live.  His main source of aggravation occurs from Ruford‘s tomfoolery and backtalk.

Attractive and single, Honey Lamb has caught Norton’s wandering eye. She even has her own theme song, Ewe Sexy Thing.

Aunt Giblet, Ruford’s deceased aunt led a very adventurous life. Authorities listed her cause of death as “fowl play”.

The Ghost of Charles Schulz often appears to Ruford in the middle of the night.  The deceased Peanuts cartoonist has little respect for Norton, Ruford or their lazy creator.

Norton’s distant cousin Plantar (a warthog) has not only been hit with the ugly stick, the whole tree fell on him.

Norton’s Uncle Braunschweiger lives in Germany, and of all his relatives, Norton calls him the “wurst”.
